Introducing Si @ Vanthology

🚐 Meet Si – Co-Founder of Vanthology
“Every Journey is a Verse” isn’t just our brand ethos — it’s how I’ve lived the last few years.

I'm Si, 33, digital marketer by trade (I run an agency called Fernbank), and lifelong road trip addict by nature. My vanlife story started not with sleek gear and pop-tops — but with a battered old Ford Transit and a dog named Rolo, who’s been my travel buddy on every single journey for the past four years.

That old van? It clanked, leaked, and occasionally refused to start — but it took me around Scotland’s breathtaking NC500, parked up on cliffsides and lochs, and taught me that simplicity and freedom beat perfection every time. Infact, our next blog is about a story there with a great photo to share.

These days, I drive a VW Transporter T6 with a pop-top. It’s tight on space, but beautifully fitted inside — a little home on wheels that’s taken me across the UK and soon (if all goes to plan) into Europe. And yes, Rolo’s still riding shotgun.

🎒 Why Vanthology?

Vanthology began with my good mate Lew — someone I’ve shared many miles and many breakdowns with. We started this not just to sell van gear (though we do, and it’s gear we trust), but to build a space for stories — the real stuff.

We wanted a brand that reflects the highs and lows of life on the road — from perfect park-ups to bad coffee and broken awnings, and everything in between. Vanthology is about sharing those experiences, turning them into content across YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook, and creating a community that feels like the open road: free, fun, and full of unexpected moments.

We hand-pick every product you’ll see in the store — not because it looks good, but because it’s actually been used, usually by one of us, somewhere cold, muddy, or remote.

So here’s to the dreamers, tinkerers, sunrise chasers, and quiet park-up poets — this space is for you.

Vanthology is just getting started, and I couldn’t be more excited to see where this road leads.
Because, after all — every journey is a verse.

(As you can see - red is a chosen colour ha)
